// Deliverable

What your clients receive.

A structured Excel report built from the exports you supply — no platform access required on our end.

📊

Checked & Formatted Metrics

Every key metric from your exports pulled into a clean summary table — spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, CPA, CTR. Formatted consistently across platforms.

📅

Period-Over-Period Comparisons

Current period vs prior period, with absolute and percentage change for each metric. Colour-coded to surface what's moving and in which direction — at a glance.

🗂

Campaign-Level Breakdown

Performance by campaign — not just account-level totals. Flags which campaigns are above or below benchmark so the conversation is already framed when the client reads it.

✍️

Written Observations

Three to five plain-English observations explaining what the numbers mean — what improved, what needs attention, and what to consider next. Written for a client reader, not an analyst.

Review Priorities

A short numbered list of flagged items by priority — P1 urgent, P2 this month, P3 next cycle. Each item states what the data shows, the supporting evidence, and what to check next. Observations, not conclusions.

📁

Clean Excel Output

Everything in one workbook: Summary, Campaign Breakdown, Review Priorities, and Notes & Methodology. Formatted for readability — your team reviews and approves the report before sharing it with clients.

// Sample Report

See what the deliverable looks like.

The sample below uses synthetic data — clearly labelled throughout. It shows the structure and writing style of an actual deliverable.

Sample: Google Ads — May vs April 2026

Account summary · 9 campaigns · one platform

⚠ Synthetic data

Targets shown are illustrative — agreed with each agency before reporting begins.

Metric Apr 2026 May 2026 Change Flag
Total Spend$48,230$51,840+$3,610 (+7.5%)
Total Conversions312341+29 (+9.3%)✓ Higher than April
Avg. CPA$154.58$152.02−$2.56 (−1.7%)✓ On target (<$160 illustrative)
Avg. CTR1.79%1.73%−0.06pp⚠ Below 1.75% floor (illustrative)
Written observation (excerpt): May recorded 341 conversions — higher than April's 312. CPA came in at $152.02, within the <$160 threshold. The one item to watch is CTR, which fell from 1.79% to 1.73% (−0.06 pp), crossing below the 1.75% monitoring floor. Root cause requires ad-group-level data. Recommended next step: pull the ad-group breakdown and identify the campaigns driving the decline before drawing conclusions.

// Pilot

Start with one report. See if it works.

The pilot is scoped to be low-risk. You send the exports, we deliver the report. If you want to continue, we discuss a monthly cadence.

Pilot scope

Agency Reporting Pilot

From $150
Email us to start →

Turnaround is confirmed after reviewing your inputs. Ongoing monthly retainers available after the pilot — scoped per platform and campaign volume.

// Process

How a reporting cycle works.

01 — You send exports

Share your data

Export your platform data as a CSV or XLSX file and email it to hello@cognifold.io with the periods you want compared. We work from structured exports — screenshots and PDF reports are not compatible with our checking process.

02 — We confirm scope

We review and confirm

We check the inputs, confirm the turnaround time, and flag any gaps in the data before starting. No surprises when the deadline arrives.

03 — Report is built

Data checked, report written

We build the Excel, cross-check each metric against the figures in your supplied export, run the period comparisons, and write the observations. You review the report before it goes anywhere near a client.

04 — You review

Review and send

You receive the report, review it, request any changes (one revision included), and forward it to your client. The report is yours to send under your own branding.

// Is this right for you?

Good fit and poor fit.

✓ Good fit

  • Small to mid-sized digital agency with 5–30 clients
  • Account managers stretched across multiple accounts
  • Reporting currently done manually in a spreadsheet
  • Want to free up time for strategy, not data formatting
  • Comfortable sending platform exports via email
  • Want a consistent, branded report format each month

✗ Poor fit

  • Need real-time or automated reporting dashboards
  • Require API integration with your reporting tool
  • Need us to access platform accounts directly
  • Want full white-label agency management (we don't manage campaigns)
  • Reporting is already covered by a dedicated in-house analyst
// Who does this work

A note on background.

This service is run by Shubham, the founder of Cognifold. I come from a data science background — I've spent time building models and working with structured data before applying those skills to marketing analytics and reporting.

Agency reporting is the kind of work where a wrong number in a client-facing report is a credibility problem. I check calculations, reporting periods, and consistency against your supplied exports, and flag missing information before delivery.

This is a new service. I'm not going to claim years of agency reporting experience I don't have. What I can offer is careful, structured analytical work, a clean deliverable, and a pilot that lets you judge the output before committing to anything further.

// FAQ

Common questions.

A structured Excel workbook with four tabs: a Summary (key metrics, period comparisons, colour-coded changes), a Campaign Breakdown (campaign-level performance with flags and a totals row for cross-verification), a Review Priorities tab (evidence-led observations and suggested next steps, not conclusions), and a Notes & Methodology tab (conversion definition, attribution model, period lengths, and how each metric is calculated). Plus three to five written observations — written for a client reader, not an analyst.
We confirm supported metrics and report scope after reviewing your CSV or XLSX export — Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics 4, and similar platforms are typical. The pilot covers one platform, one client account. Ongoing retainers can cover multiple platforms and accounts per reporting cycle. Email your export format before sending if you're unsure.
No. You export the data from your own tools and send it to us. We don't require access to any advertising platform, client account, or analytics property. You keep full control of the client relationship.
We confirm turnaround time after reviewing your specific inputs — it depends on the number of campaigns and completeness of the export. For a well-structured export covering up to ten campaigns, typical turnaround is two to three business days. We'll confirm before starting.
Yes. The Excel is yours to use however you like — send it directly to clients, add your own logo, or copy the observations into your own template. We don't include any Cognifold branding in the deliverable unless you want us to.
